When you book a boudoir session it's your time to be pampered. It's a break away from watching the kids, doing the house chores, working with "that one" coworker who just knows how to push your buttons. It's a day that's all about you!

The number one thing that everyone gets wrong about boudoir is having this preserved notion that it's just an excuse to get "naughty" photos. WRONG! Boudoir isn't about stripping down to your birthday suit. It's about many things. My personal favorite reason to book a boudoir session is to celebrate the amazing things our bodies as women can do. Our bodies not only create life, but we also BRING that life into this world. As a mother who has gone through a C-section and hated seeing that scar. I understand that feeling of seeing what is left behind after having gone through body trauma. Stretch marks from weight gain, scar tissue from surgeries, and the aging lines that come from growing older. 

You shouldn't see these things as flaws or see this as your body failing you. You should see these as a personal autobiography of your life. These things tell a story of what you've gone through and overcame. You should be able to look at yourself and say, "I love my body and everything it's done for me". 

That is what Boudoir is all about.
