Whether you book a mini session or a full session I will help guide you throughout the whole process. Booking, location, session prepping, and posing.
The most important thing when booking is understanding timeline, the sooner you book the better. You want to start looking for your maternity photographer around 25-27 weeks so you can have time to plan for your session.
The best time to book a newborn photographer is 8 months incase baby decides to have an early birthday.
THE SESSION
LIFESTYLE PHOTOS, NOT COOKIE CUTTER
While I do pose you and your babies, lifestyle sessions are more fluid and flexible. If your toddler doesn't want to sit and smile that's ok! I will give directions that will include your children to help make them feel they are a part of the session, not a prop. This means games, songs, books, being involved and precent during your maternity and newborn session.
WHAT IF MY CHILD NEEDS A MINUTE?
Sometimes kids do get overwhelmed and that's ok. We can take a break and let your child explore, during that time I will photograph solos of Mom, baby, each parent with baby, and details. This is a new world for your baby; we will keep them warm and fed during your session. We go at baby's pace; this means adjusting to what your child wants or needs. If your baby is absolutely not having a good day (I am a momma I have been in the newborn trenches) then we can reschedule for another day.
EFFICIENCY IS KEY
I have a workflow that I will guide your family through to help make your session going smoothly. If baby isn't wanting to sleep or is needing another feeding, we can adjust the order of how we will photograph your session to keep things moving so you do not need to stress.

Mom brain is a real thing, trying to remember everything while taking care of yourself postpartum is a lot. I send you a newborn prep guide to help you get ready for your upcoming session and it even includes a check list to help you make sure you have whatever you need to make your session stress-free.
YOUR TIME TO RELAX
During your session you won't have to worry about a thing. I will do the outfit checks, fix your hair if need, and pose you from head to toe. Your job is to enjoy yourself.

MATERNITY SESSION
1 Hour session
This includes family photo's as well with your immediate family members. Best time to book is 30-32 weeks (high risk pregnancies at 27 weeks)

FRESH 48/ IN-HOME
1-1.5 Hours
A fresh 48 session is also known as a hospital newborn session.
You can book your newborn session during your hospital stay or if you want a more personal session, you can have an in-home session.
Best time to book if you are wanting a fresh 48 session would be in your 8th month before baby arrives.

STUDIO NEWBORN SESSION
1 Hour Session
A studio session is perfect for moms who are seeking a controlled and convenient environment for their newborn session. You do not have to worry about cleaning or decluttering your home after giving birth.

Pick 2 sessions of your choosing to bundle together and receive a 16x20 canvas print of your favorite photo.

Al La Cart sessions are listed here. You can pair any of the sessions listed under Sessions for Momma and Milestone Sessions with any of the session packages above!
I do include family portraits in all sessions EXCEPT Post Partum & Boudoir
Boudoir sessions can be booked as a Maternity Boudoir session or Post Partum session.
No children (18 and under) are allowed in the studio during these types of sessions.

DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO?
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY NEWBORN SESSION?
I use different studios in the Logan, Brigham, and Pocatello areas which you are able to choose from! I also offer in home newborn sessions which adds a more personal touch to your photos.
For a newborn session you will want to reach out to book your newborn session in your 8th month of pregnancy so you can be on my Calander. My calendar fills up fast, so you do not want to wait. We will schedule your newborn session for when your baby is 7-14 days old. Don't worry we can still do newborn photos up to 6 weeks just keep in mind baby will be more awake after the first 2 weeks.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY GALLERY?
Living in the digital age makes the anticipation of waiting feel like an eternity. I email you over the fully edited gallery in 2 weeks. Keep in mind busy season (Fall- Christmas) can affect delivery times due to the influx of bookings.
WHAT IF I DON'T WANT MY IMAGES ONLINE?
These are your images; I will not post your personal photo's online without your permission.
I send a small questionnaire over after you book your family session where I ask permission for online posting. This helps me file your finalized gallery into the correct category and off social media.
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT ARRANGMENTS?
Yes, I do! Single sessions are booked with a 50% retainer with the remaining due at your session. For bundled sessions, I break your session payments into either 4 or 6 installments that are stretched out to your last session (depending on which sessions you choose).
