Bridal sessions are just like a fun day to put your dress on, get your makeup and hair done, and get all kinds of pretty photo's! Normally bridal sessions are done before your wedding but for some couples they didn't get to have their big day back in 2020 and 2021. For Robert and his wife this was their reality, they got married back during covid but never got the fancy dress and tux photo's!
This past May, I set out to meet this lovely couple up at King's Nature park in Green Canyon to capture their long waited bridal portraits. Robert had told me they are avid hikers and his wife actually took one of the trails at the location up in to the mountains prior to their session. How fun is that!
Being avid hikers and nature people, Robert and his wife where looking for wild flowers and mountain views. This is what Green Canyon is perfect for during May, fields full of wild flowers and stunning views!

If you decide to go to Green Canyon for your bridal session keep in mind that the pathways are smaller and their will be other people out biking. You will need to keep an eye out and make room for people trying to pass by. You can walk off the pathway for photos as well just be carful of all the rocks and uneven ground as to not trip.
Logan Utah Wild Flower's
Green Canyon Bridal Session

During May the land around the mouth of Green Canyon is blooming full of bright wild flowers! Perfect for Graduation sessions, summer bridal portraits, and family picnic photo's! After our time on the hillside Robert and his wife decided they wanted to move to an area with more flowers. So we came down the road just a bit till we found this field in front of the Canyon.

This field is own for the wild flowers during the Spring months and can get very busy during the weekend. Robert and his wife choose to schedule their bridal session during the weekend just and hour and a half before sunset. There where a few other groups taking photo's in this same field but there is enough space that we could peacefully finish their bridal session while also giving enough space for the other groups to enjoy.
