The first few weeks of having your newborn home feel unreal. You are still trying to balance your everyday routine to the constantly changing life of a newborn while getting little sleep. So it's understandable if you do not want to leave the house for your newborn session, for some mom's it's easier to stay home after C-section. As a mother who has had a C-section I understand the pain of trying to get in and out of a vehicle and not really feeling up to going places. This is why I choose to offer in home newborn sessions as well as studio options.

This is why I offer in home sessions for newborn portraits. In home sessions can be just as cozy and comfortable as a studio session with the added benefit of not having to deal with traffic. You can still get those beautiful detail shots of your baby that you see in studios in your home to so don't think you might be missing out on some photo's if you can't go in to a studio or just simply don't want to book one.

In home newborn sessions can make your newborn photos have a more personal feel to them plus you can capture photo's of your newborn's nursery to show them as your baby grows up. As long as you have 1-2 rooms in your home that are open with lots of window light you can get a nice verity of newborn photo's. These photo's I have posted here are of a beautiful family in their home where they wanted to host their newborn photos. We where able to get solo photo's of baby, mom + baby, dad + baby, and family photos in the same room of their house.
